President Ali Abdullah Saleh receives on Tuesday the Libyan leader's envoy Ahmed Qadhaf Addam.
During the meeting, Qadhaf Addam handed over to President Saleh a letter from his Libyan counterpart Colonel Muammar al-Gaddafi contained an invitation to attend the 22nd round of the Arab League summit to be held in Libya.
The letter also dealt with the most issues to be discussed in the summit, which would focus on activating the mechanisms and institutions of Arab joint action.
The Libyan envoy highlighted the Yemeni initiative to activate the joint Arab action, pointing out that it would be on the summit's table.
He also praised President Saleh's role to serve the nation issues and enhance Arab sodality and joint work.
The meeting also discussed a several issues and topics concerned with brotherly relations between the two countries and Arab nation.
President Saleh asked the Libyan envoy to convey a letter to President al-Gaddafi, wishing him good health and Libyan people more progress and prosperity.
