Secretary General of the Arab League Amr Mousa praised on Tuesday the Yemeni initiative aiming at activating the Arab work, describing it as having many hopes and aspirations for the nation.

During his meeting with Arab parliamentarians and MP Mansour al-Zandani in Cairo, Mousa affirmed that this initiative is inserted in the agenda of the Arab summit set to be held in Libya on March 27.

For his part, al-Zandani expressed appreciation of the big role played by Mousa in order to serve the joint Arab work and to develop it to benefit interests of the Arab nation.

The AL Council approved on March 3, at the level of Arab FMs, to present the Yemeni initiative which was adopted by the Arab Parliament and gave a time limit for member countries till March 13 to present any notes or suggestions over the initiative.
